If you can't find it in one of these places, it probably doesn't exist! Seriously, a thorough look at these shops will take hours. Out of Town Things

Ste. Genevieve-Modoc Ferry
Experience the River. Drive your car or walk-on the ferry to cross the Mississippi. For about 10 minutes, with the wind whipping your hair, you may forget you are in Missouri. At the very least, drive down to the landing and watch the barges travel up and down the river.

Hawn State Park & Pickle Springs
Nature Preserve

Great places to hike and picnic. Just 30 minutes away, west on Hwy 32. Watch for signs or we can supply you with a map.

Ste. Genevieve Golf Course
Now 18 holes. Just off Hwy 32, west of Ste. Genevieve. 573.883.2949

Charleville Winery
About 20 miles out of town to the west of I-55, this is, in our opinion, the best of the new wineries. Only four wines so far, but all of them very good and reasonably priced. A tiny tasting room sits high up on a Missouri mountain overlooking vineyards and trees. It's definitely worth the ride. They have a great dog, too, who makes it his business to greet the guests who come to experience the winery. Click on Area Wineries for a map.
