Main Street Inn has eight guest rooms, each with private bath with shower. Three of these also have two-person whirlpool tubs installed in the guest rooms for privacy and romance. Several parlors, porches, and a large dining room are also available for guests. Built as the luxurious Meyer Hotel in 1882 and expanded at the turn of the century, the building has been completely renovated to reflect meet the expectations of modern guests.

Some guests call our ambience quietly elegant. We call it relaxed and friendly. Whatever it is, many find it pleasant enough to return again and again. We hope that you will too.
For your added enjoyment — We have recently installed remote-controlled electric fireplace/stoves to several of our rooms.

The Maid's Room
No, you don't have to do the dishes or make the beds if you stay in this charming room, although the original occupant did both. She didn't have a comfy queen-sized bed, electric lights, or even a modern bath with shower either. Although this room is a bit smaller than most of our rooms, it is still quite large by today's standards. Has a big closet, too. $95

William and Mary Baumstark Room
Named for Mary Meyer (who built the inn) and her second husband. We think they would delight in the luxury and seclusion of this 3rd floor retreat with its 2-person whirlpool, cannonball four-poster queen bed, and overstuffed chairs. Hidden in a matching armoire is a small TV (cable) with VCR/DVD player. Full bath with shower. $149/weekends; $130 Sunday thru Thursday.
