Local wineries uncorked their new vintages in Ste. Genevieve county with a flourish at four new facilities in 2003. The vineyards are located about 25 miles outside the village of Ste. Genevieve to the west.
In the Ste. Genevieve Historic District: Charleville Vineyard Tasting Room & Gift Shop immediately adjacent to the Main Street Inn; Sainte Genevieve Winery on Merchant St; and the Show Me Shop on North Main Street and Merchant carries a selection of locally made wines, also available for tasting.
